What happened to Atwood 89004 is this 89006 a replacement? It looks tall for many couplers.

The Atwood AMPlock Trailer Coupler Lock part AT89004 which is for overslung couplers (coupler on top of frame) has been discontinued by the manufacturer as with a lot of Atwood products as they are no longer in business. The Atwood AMPlock Underslung Coupler Lock part # AT89006 which is for underslung couplers (coupler on bottom of frame) is only available while supplies lasts and has also been discontinued by the manufacturer.
That said, you do not need to use an Atwood coupler lock if you have an Atwood coupler as the locks are universal. For a similar style, the Blaylock EZ Lock Trailer Coupler Lock part # BLTL-34 will work just fine in place of the AMPlock Trailer Coupler Lock part AT89004.
