Question:

Needing a trailer hitch and wiring for my 2019 Nissan Leaf so I can tow a small trailer. I am having difficulty finding anything, is there anything available?

We actually do have a trailer hitch for your 2019 Nissan Leaf with the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7221! This trailer hitch comes with a 2" receiver and features a hidden crosstube (so only the receiver is visible) so that it looks really clean installed. I have attached a photo one of our customers sent in after they installed it on their 2019 Leaf for you to check out.

Then for wiring we have the Curt T-Connector # C56227 which gives you a 4-Way connector for basic trailer light wiring. You can use the Eclipse Magnetic Mounting Bracket # 306-X6019 to keep the connector next to your hitch receiver. Please note that your owner's manual advises against using a '19 Nissan Leaf to tow a trailer. If you are determine to do this though you also need a ball mount kit.

I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900 because it includes two ball mounts, one with a 3/4” rise/2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise/4” drop, a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip. You will want to refer to the attached ball mount article to ensure that this kit is correct for your towing application.
