Question:

little nervous about wether or not these will work on my 2004 F-250 Super Duty, 8foot bed 4X4, straight cab with a sportsman 9foot camper, weighs 1650 lbs. Thanks in advance

The Brophy Camper Hold Down Brackets, part # HSSF are a universal-fit item that will work on most full-sized trucks, including your 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty 4x4 straight cab. Some Dual rear wheel truck beds may interfere with the installation of the hold downs.

The hold downs will secure under the rail of your truck bed and wrap around the top instead of mounting in the stake pockets. There is no weight capacity rating on the hold downs and they will work for any camper that is properly sized for your vehicle.

I have attached a photo showing how the camper hold downs install on a truck.

You may also be interested in the Camper Tie Down Hardware Package, # TDHP. This package comes with four 3/8 inch turnbuckles, four S-hooks and four chains that have a 3000 pound capacity.
