How To Reset Jensen JWM60A With Error Display

Question:

You say that there is no transport screw. It will not play cds or dvds. It keeps coming up disk err. What can I do to fix the problem. Take it back to the dealership?

If you are getting an error when trying to play discs, the Jensen stereo part # JWM60A can be reset and that usually fixes the issue. Use a ball point pen or similar object to press the RESET button (28). This may be
necessary should the unit display an error code.

It may be possible your unit has a transport screw still installed. You may want to take a look at the back of the unit there should be a sticker that tells you it needs to be removed.
