Tow Mirror Recommendation for 2018 Ford F-150

Question:

So I wanted to replace my 2018 f150 with tow mirrors, but I dont have blinkers or heated mirriors, my stock mirrors are 8pin. Now I know that if I got tow mirrors that is also 8 pin with heating and blinkers that they wont work, but thats ok. What Im asking is is that safe? It doesnt matter if I cant heat up my mirrors but they shouldnt cause any problems right?

Under normal circumstances it's perfectly safe to install a set of aftermarket tow mirrors on a truck that has fewer mirror features as what the new ones support. You'll just not have the extra functions and everything else will be totally fine without issue.

Now for your 2018 Ford F-150 application there are no tow mirror replacement solutions so to get a tow mirror on your truck you'd have to go with a slip on style that's custom fit for your current mirrors like the K-Source part # KS81850 which installs easily, is very secure, and gives great visibility behind you when towing.
