Id like to see a cost comparison and why these are so expensive.

I attached a picture that shows the Torklift Camper Tie Down # TLF2021 installed on a truck with a set of running boards. If the running boards are cab length they'd be fine, but if they go from the wheel well to wheel well they would interfere as you can see.

The Torklift camper tie downs are not inexpensive by any means. But they are designed to secure a camper in the bed of a truck which is pretty heavy and they are all custom fit for each truck variation which is an expensive and tedious process to do right. What you are paying for is an easier install and the peace of mind that the tie downs you are installing were designed to fit your specific vehicle.
