All Trailer Lights Come On While Using Curt T-Connector On a 2016 Ford Fusion

Question:

I have a 2016 Ford Fusion, I purchased the trailer wiring harness. Install is complete but when testing I get all lights on the tester. I disconnected the right side and get the same thing on the tester, I reconnect the right side and disconnect the left side and the tester works properly. What is my problem?

In regards to the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56351 which is a fit for your 2016 Ford Fusion, I would first check to make sure you have the wire leads ran to the proper sides of the vehicle. The lead with green wire goes to the passenger side and the lead with the yellow wire goes to the driver side. If you have the leads on the correct sides then make sure the pin inside the connectors are all straight and non are corroded.

I can't think of anything else that would cause the issue you are having expect for a failed converter box so if neither of the above options fix your issue then you will need to replace the wiring harness.
