The temp dial gauge in the refrigerator. Lower number is warmer or colder?

When it comes to adjusting the temperature of a refrigerator or freezer such as the Everchill # 324-000119, the higher the number, the colder the temperature. Turning the dial clockwise will decrease the temperature, counter clockwise will raise it.
