How far apart from each other should the brackets be on the front bumper of a jeep wrangler JK?

According to the installation instructions, the brackets for # BX88230 require a spacing of 21-1/8 inches.
You will first locate the center of your bumper and measure out 10-1/16 inches to either side, then from the center of each mark, measure over 21-1/8 inches to the opposite side to drill the 17/32 inch holes.
