Can Two Car Batteries be Wired Together to Increase Amperage but Not Voltage

Question:

if I put two batteries in my 57 fordson tractor will I have more cold cranking amps but still have 12votls.I have proplem cranking when it cold I need at lease 1150 cold cranking they say for the fordson so will 2 battery at 650 cc each do it

When you wire two batteries in parallel you are able to add the amps up of both batteries together and then still be at 12 volts. So two 650 CC amp batteries would give you 1,300 total cranking amps. See attached picture.
