Question:
How can I stop roof rats from getting in my gutter. Do they have covers for the spout

Expert Reply:
Some RV covers like the Adco Tyvek All-Climate covers like part # AD87ZR include spout covers that look like a draw-string bag that you slip over the end of the gutter spout to prevent critters from getting into the spout. The Adco Polypropylene Storage Lot RV Cover for Travel Trailers fits travels trailer from 26' - 28' long. If you let me know what kind of trailer you have I can recommend a full cover for you.
If you do not want to purchase a whole cover you could use a small weather proof draw-string bag to cover the spouts while the trailer is in storage. I have also seen some people use tennis balls to cover the spouts if the spout is not too large or cut pool noodles and used them to block the spout with tape.
