Does Bumper Have to be Removed to Install Curt Trailer Hitch 13238 in 2018 Audi Q3

Question:
Audi Q3 to enlarge the hole in the outside of the frame rail do you need to remove bumper to access this spot with the grinder? Also do i need to remove the exhaust mounts midway also or slip off rubber mounts to get exhaust system low enough to give me more room? Thanks,

The bumper of your 2018 Audi Q3 does not have to be removed at any point in order to install the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13238. All that is required is loosening the fasteners at the bottom of the bumper cover to allow for installation of the hitch. You will need to remove the heat shield and trim it, but that will be reinstalled.
In regards to the exhaust, you will need to remove the exhaust brackets and then put spacers between the exhaust brackets and the frame so the hitch can be properly mounted.
