Can the Hardware On the Thule Frontier Be Upgraded To Use the Thule EasySnap Kit

Question:
Im looking to replace the bolt and wing-nut mounting system that came with my older Thule Frontier. The current ones have rusted, and I would like to upgrade to the Easy-Snap system if possible. Can you confirm if the Easy Snap will fit my Thule Frontier?

Yes, the Thule EasySnap Mounting Kit part # TH05820 is compatible with the Thule Frontier Cargo Box. That said, you would most likely need to re-drill one of the mounting holes for each clamp but this is not a big deal at all and your only option to upgrade to the EasySnap. The Thule EasySnap Mounting Kit comes with covers for the old holes as well.
