We have winches with similar capacities to the Badlands 2500 you have that are designed to be used with 110 AC power like the Dutton Lainson StrongArm part # DL24872 but I can't recommend attempting to connect a DC winch to an AC power source unless you used an AC to DC converter like the 40 amp part # 329-GX2440.
