Question:

Yes, the best way to deter thieves with bolt cutters is to use a very short pin lock in the latch part # e98885. This etrailer.com stainless steel coupler lock only measures a 1/2" span and will not give the thief room to use the bolt cutters to cut it off because it is too tight against the latch. As long as the hole in your latch is a 1/4" and the latch is no wider than 1/2" this will work well for you. They can also be keyed alike so you can use 1 key for your work trailers.
