Question:
We have an automatic changeover for the 2 gas tanks on our travel trailer, however, the guage does not tell us when one of the tanks is empty making it possible for us to run out of gas when both tanks get empty. Is it possible to attach a guage indicator to each tank and still use the changeover?

It is certainly possible to install a gauge between each tank and your automatic changeover regulator. For this I recommend using the Camco Propane Cylinder Gas Gauge # CAM59023 to tell how much gas is left in each tank. Green indicates a good amount of propane in your cylinder, yellow indicates you're approaching low levels and red means it's probably time to refill your cylinder. The # CAM59023 doubles as a leak indicator which is great!
You also need Camco Propane Supply Hose part # CAM59053 to connect it to the regulator. You need one gauge and one hose for each tank.
