Did the puck system change for Gmc after 2016?

GM changed the puck dimension from the year 2019 to 2020 but prior to that the size and fifth wheel fits are all the exact same. The B and W Companion part # BWRVK3715 is a fit for the new puck design in 2020 but if you had a OEM rail kit made earlier than that you'd need the part # BWRVK3700 instead.

Will the RVK3710 20K hitch work on a 2020 Silverado 2500 standard bed pickup?

As long as your Silverado 2500 is equipped with the factory puck system, the B&W # BWRVK3710 will fit perfectly whether you have the 8 foot or the standard 6-1/2 foot bed. The issue you might run into with the shorter bed is cab clearance during sharper turns, which is why we typically recommend the slider version, part # BWRVK3775.
