how do you know if you have adaptive cruise or not?

Expert Reply:
The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit part # BX2632 for your 2015 Ford Explorer will work on models both with and without the adaptive cruise control (ACC) feature so you don't need to determine whether or not you have this before you purchase a base plate kit. That said, there are generally visible sensors on the exterior of your front bumper along with controls on the steering wheel alongside the cruise control buttons on models with the adaptive cruise control (ACC) feature but the manufacturer would be able to tell you for certain whether or not you have this feature using your VIN.
If you don't already have a tow bar to pair with the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit, I recommend the Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar part # BX7380.
