Should Wiring Be Replaced When Installing Replacement Lippert Power Gear Control Kit

Question:

If this is a plug and play replacement, why are the wiring harnesses included? Any idea if they changed any of the wiring to the plugs which would cause the need to replace the wiring harness for the replacement unit?

I'm not sure how old your Lippert Power Gear Manual Leveling System is but the module and keypad design has indeed been upgraded since the original release. The original harness/keypad are no longer made but the Replacement Control Kit # LC359259 that you referenced is designed to upgrade the system (if you do in fact have an older model) to the current version.

Regardless of what you have though this will indeed be a plug-and-play installation. I do recommend using the included harness though during installation even if your existing wiring is still fine. This will ensure that everything works as it should.
