No Left Side Trailer Stop Light On 2007 Toyota Tundra
Updated 08/15/2019 | Published 08/14/2019 >
Question:
07 Tundra The left trailer stop light isnt working. There is a turn single on that side. Ive checked all the relays, fuses, Nothing is Blown or seems bad. Right turn single work, stop light. running lights. Left turn single works.. Not stop light... running light works. ???? What could this be? Ive tested wiring harness all the way up to fuse pannel and kick pannel in truck. Its working but not on the plug.. and just bought new plug in 7way/4way to connect to factory harness

The stop and turn signal lights on your 2007 Toyota Tundra are run on separate wires. If you are not getting any power on the left stop/turn pin inside the trailer connector when the brake is applied there are really only two things that could cause this which is either a wire short or blown fuse. I know you said you checked the fuses but make sure you pull each out for the trailer wiring and thoroughly inspect the filament. If this does not yield a result then you will need to start tracing the wires that lead into the trailer connector. If all else fails you may just need to take your vehicle in for service.
