Does Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch DL16003 Ratchet in Both Directions

ON THE DL16OO3, DOES THE RATCHET WORK IN BOTH DIRECTIONS?

The ratcheting action of the Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch # DL16003 only works in one direction.

If you are looking for a winch that does ratchet in both directions then you need the part # DL14830 instead. This has a different design and is rated for a higher weight capacity but there are no options that use a handle which operates in the back and forth motion that ratchet both ways.
