It sounds like you need a multiple ball, ball mount. I am not sure how much rise or drop you need but we do offer many 3-ball mount options. Since the Outback Wagon does sit a bit lower to the ground you will most likely not be able to use an adjustable ball mount with a lot of drop because of ground clearance. I recommend B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 3" Drop, 3.5" Rise - 10K - Browning part # BWTS10047BB which will provide you with a 1-7/8" ball, 2" ball, and 2-5/16" ball, 3.5" of rise and 3" of drop. It does fit a 2" hitch, some Subaru's come with a 1-1/4" hitch and we do not have adjustable ball mounts available for that sized hitch because of they are only rated for 200 lbs tongue weight. You do want to the check the owner's manual for the Subaru Outback Wagon before towing a heavier trailer because you may be exceeding the gross vehicle weight rating of the vehicle.
