Can Trailer Batteries be Wired in Series to Produce 48 Volts

Can I wire four 6 volt deep cycle batteries to two 12 volt deep cycle batteries to total 48 volts to run my motor.

If your boat motor requires 48 volts then yes you could do what you described by wiring the 6 volts in series to each other and then wiring the two additional batteries in series to that bank and to each other. That would give you a total of 48 volts but you should for sure verify what voltage your motor needs to run on.
I attached a picture that shows difference between wiring batteries in series and in parallel.
