Question:
Hi, Do you know its possible to reverse the strap on the Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch - Marine - 9,000 lbs Item # DL25215 to feed from the top instead of the bottom. For my application I need just those few extra inches to get the boat completely loaded on to the trailer. I think this would reverse the in/out controls but that aside would the product function properly otherwise i.e. pulling capacity, durability? Thanks!

I do have a solution for you but the strap cannot be flipped so to speak so that it comes out on the top rather than the bottom in regards to the Fulton XLT Powered Winch with Rugged Strap part # DL25215. I am also not aware of a boat trailer winch the capacity you need with this feature therefore your best option would be to adjust your winch mount to better suite your needs. We do offer the CE Smith Winch Stand part # CE31013G which is 30" tall if needed.
