Question:
Hello I recently installed a Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector on my 2014 Ford Edge SEL After the install I noticed that the plug has a constant power to the running lights. I do not have the keys in the ignition and the lights are off. I checked the module with a tester and it has a power coming into the module and going out. I plugged the vehicle into 2 didnt trailer and both had same issue. Shouldnt the power stop at the module when the vehicles key are removed? Please advise. Thanks You

If you are getting constant power to the Curt Wiring Harness # C56120 on your 2014 Ford Edge the issue is likely a short somewhere since you tested this on multiple trailers and the same thing is happening. So you will need to find the short by tracing your wiring and looking for any that are crimped, broken or otherwise damaged and repair as needed.
I have added links to a pair of help articles on trailer wiring, including a troubleshooting guide which I highly recommend taking a look at.
