Best rack for 2019 ecosport. Hatch opens like a door not a trunk. will one if these work

Good news! We have a two 3-bike trunk racks that will fit on your 2019 Ford EcoSport.

First we have the Saris Guardian 3-bike rack # SAR43FR. This is quick and easy to install and remove and it folds flat for storage. It has a capacity to carry bikes that weigh 35 pounds each.

We also have the Yakima FullBack 3 # Y02633. This rack is also quick and easy to install and remove. I would recommend this rack over the Saris because it has adjustable arms that have SuperCush anti-sway cradles. Anti-Sway cradle prevent bike from making contact with each other and keeps them from making contact with the vehicle. It also features ZipStrip straps for easy bike loading. The Yakima has a 35 pound per-bike limit but limits the total weight on the rack to 90 pounds for 3 bikes.

Both of these racks have dual arms, but the Yakima has adjustable arms while the Saris has them fixed in one position. The adjustable arms reduce the need for a frame adapter in most cases. However, if you are planning on carrying some bikes with odd shaped frames you may want tostill add the Saris Bike Beam frame adapter # SA3040 which is going to make mounting those frames on the carrier much easier and provide added stability.
