Will Hollywood Racks SR1 Fit 2019 Jeep Rubicon Spare Tire With Backup Camera

Question:

I’m very interested in this product and considering it not only for carrying bikes but also a spare tire mounted snowboard rack made by Thule, But which covers the back up camera. If I understand your comments correctly I can mount this on my spare tire without moving the third brake light or the back up camera. Correct? My question is whether the bottom bar of the bracket will press against the rim like in one of your photos or if it can be adjusted so that it fits snugly against the rubber of the lower tire. I’m not interested In throwing a piece of plywood in there like some of the other photos posted. Lastly, can you please tell me the distance between the two bike mounting seats center to center... In other words, the distance between the top frame bars of each bike so I can determine how far apart from each other the frame bars will be? The Hollywood Racks SR1 2-Bike Carrier # HRSR1 will not affect the third brake light but if you have a back up camera that is mounted to the spare tire the rack will block the view of the back up camera when loaded. If you are okay with the bike rack blocking the camera's view then it will still work well for you if your tire section width is not wider then 15". It is a good idea to check that.

The reason that the bottom bracket is riding on the rim and not the rubber portion of the tire is because the tire is most likely too large for the carrier in the photos. As long as your tire is not wider then 15" then the bottom portion of the rack will ride on the rubber part of your tire. The bike cradles are 7" apart on the bike rack.
