Question:
Can you leave the XL model attached to the frame with the mount bracket while towing like you can with the 5X model?

Expert Reply:
The Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly part # TVXL2 cannot be left installed on the trailer with the Trailer Valet XL Mounting Bracket part # TVXLMB while in tow. The dolly would need to be removed as the bracket is not made to hold this on the trailer while towing. If your tongue weight is under 500 lbs then you can use the Trailer Valet 5X Swivel Jack and Trailer Mover part # STC-V211 but otherwise you would just need to remove the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly each time and store it in the vehicle or trailer.
