Is There a Special Socket Needed to Install Convert a Ball Adapter # CAB-C5G
Question:
I’ve read that an 8 sided socket is ideal but tough to find. What size socket is needed so I can order one with my adapter?

I believe you are talking about the square head bolts of the # CAB-C5G. They are annoying but they require a crowfoot wrench adapted to a torque wrench capable of 100 ft lbs. 100 ft lbs is the recommended torque. Convert a Ball has told us in the past that people will sometimes use a large crescent wrench as well.
