Can Main Body Assembly be Reversed of Curt Universal Trailer Hitch on 2003 Ford Windstar

Question:
13900 hitch on my 2003 ford windstar - this hitch mounted ok but seems a bit low. can I turn center bar where receiver hole is up side down to get more height

I took a look at the directions of the universal-fit Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13900 and as you can see by the accompanying cut out of the linked installation manual, on Ford vans you can reverse (turn upside down) the main body assembly of the hitch in order to get more height.
