I need 5/16 inch in the width, fits in a groove

The groove I believe you are referring to is designed to have a light track slid into it like the part # A30-0600 so that a thicker rope LED light can fit into it like the # A30-0625VP. None of the light strips we offer will fit into a channel that is only 5/16 inch in diameter.
