Question:

Hi! Im just wondering if you guys think that my MT70108 cargo carrier and a MT70209 Cargo bag would be compatible with one another. In other words would the bag fit properly in the carrier. Just wondering because the carrier is 47inch long and the information on the bag says it is also 47inch long as well? Would like to get something like this for our 2018 Jeep Wrangler with a 2 receiver hitch. Please let me know your thoughts or maybe youd have a better recommendation for our Jeep.

The Carpod Cargo Bag w/ Mounting Straps # M2202 and your 20x47 MaxxTow Cargo Carrier MT70108 are actually excellent choices and will fit together beautifully. They do technically take up the same amount of space but since the bag isn't rigid it allows you to take full advantage of the space the carrier offers.

The only other thing I recommend adding are some security measures to help protect your cargo. For this I recommend the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232 for the carrier, the Master Lock Covered, Solid Body Padlock # 131D for the zippers on the bag, and then a few cable locks like part # e98891 to wrap around the carrier and the bag.
