Question:

I see there is a curt model that is supposed to fit a 2018. Does it also fit 2019! And is there a mode that has a 2” receiver? Lastly. is there an installer that can install it in the Truckee, CA area? Thanks!

The Curt trailer hitch part # C11522 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2019 Mini Countryman John Cooper Works. We have confirmed this with Curt. For smaller vehicles like yours there are only 1-1/4 inch hitches available. The larger 2 inch hitch size is generally reserved for larger vehicles with higher towing capacities.

For trailer wiring I would go with the ZCI kit part # 119250KIT which is a confirmed fit and installs without splicing which is much less invasive that other kits that require you to splice into the vehicle wiring.

Hitch installs are pretty basic for mechanics so best option will be to find a local garage to you with a good reputation and let them install the hitch.
