Question:

I have a 2019 RAM 1500 new body style, crew cab, short bed. I have a gator HR1 roll up tonneau on it and was wondering what ladder rack would be compatible. I would be using it to carry kayaks mostly.

Expert Reply:

The Gator HR1 is very similar to the BAK Revolver line of tonneau covers which installs between the bed rails far enough that an Adarac ladder rack will fit and work well with.

So if you have a 5-1/2 foot bed you'd want the part # A4000965 or if you have a 6-1/2 foot bed you'd want the part # A4000944. These are aluminum ladder racks that mount through the top of the bed rails and allow a tonneau like yours to fit between.
