The Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Racks actually represents one of the few ladder racks available that are compatible with tonneau covers because they mount to the top of the bed rails. This leaves the inside of the bed rails free to accommodate mounting hardware from inside-the-rail tonneau covers.

If your Silverado has the 5-1/2 foot bed you will need part # TH43002XT-782, for the 6-1/2 foot bed you will need # TH43002XT-781, and for the 8 foot bed you will use part # TH43002XT-780. In addition to the benefit of being compatible with certain tonneau covers the TracRac also features unique base rails that allow the crossbars to adjust along the length of the bed to better support different sized cargo items. It features a 1,250 pound weight capacity and a corrosion resistant aluminum construction.

For a tonneau cover that works extremely well with this rack I recommend the BAK Revolver X2; part # BAK39120 for the 5-1/2 foot bed, part # BAK39121 for the 6-1/2 foot bed, or part # BAK39122 for the 8 foot bed. This cover combines the strength of a hard tonneau cover with the versatility and ease of a soft roll-up cover. Its roll-up design allows for quick bed access when needed and the clamp-on mounting hardware eliminates the need for any drilling.
