Question:
I was looking at the Camco propane pigtail Type 1 to 1/4 “ mpt connection for my application. Unfortunately the 20” length would be a little short for what I am trying to accomplish . Do they make a slightly longer length 30 or 36”? I was looking at the MB sturgis one with back check and 36” length but not sure if it is right for what I’m doing. basically I have class b rv vanRoadtrek with a permanently mount Ed tank under driver seat step. It is a 1998 and I want to simply retire that in place and store a small 5lb tank in the large vented storage area behind that. I was looking to run that pigtail from my new portable tank to original regulator where old tank is and leave regulator right where it is. The regulator is a two stage and I wasn’t sure if that MB sturgis is right since it is for high pressure and I don’t think I need that. Just running a small fridge and occasionally a two burner stove. No furnace I took it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated

If you are needing a hose that is 36" long then I recommend using the Camco Propane Supply Hose # CAM59173 for your application. This has the type 1 ACME nut that you use to connect to your propane tank and then it has a 1/4" male inverted flare. To connect this to your regulator you just need the Camco Propane Fitting # CAM59953 which has a 1/4" male NPT fitting (for your regulator) and a 1/4" female inverted flare fitting to match the Camco pigtail.
If you'd like a hose longer than that I went ahead and linked our selection of hoses you can use for this application as long as you use the fitting (adapter) that I mentioned above.
