Should Stages of Propane Regulator be Separated for Clearance to Install on RV
Published 06/13/2019 >
Question:
I have a tight spot between my horizontal tank and the body of my van and I wish to change to a 2 stage. My ? is could I place a 90 degree fitting between 1st and 2nd stage or would it be better to extend the connection to the tank and then place a 90 before the regulator. thanks

I would not recommend splitting up the stages of the MB Sturgis Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 108221 that you referenced. Your best option will be to move the lines around like you mentioned so that you can install the regulator without having to more the stages around.
