The Universal-Design Rocker Switch part # PK34312 is a dual actuated switch that gets installed in a 0.830" wide x 1.450" tall cutout which is a very common size. Therefore, yes the above will install inside a standard 12 volt rocker switch cutout. For reference, the Universal-Design Rocker Switch part # PK34360 is a single actuated switch that gets installed in the same 0.830" wide x 1.450" tall cutout as the above.
The Female Spade Terminal Quick-Disconnect part # DW01899-1 is what you would want to use to attach to the back of the switch.
