What is the best supplemental cooling option from my 2008 Chevy suburban 2500 with 6.0 V8 for heavy towing?

For your 2008 Chevy Suburban with the 6.0L V8 engine the best option we have available is the Derale Series 8000 Transmission Cooler # D13504. This plate-fin style cooler uses 3/4 inch wide tabulator plates to allow for more efficient cooling and its 11 inch x 12 inch x 7/8 inch dimensions make it the largest unit we have available for your vehicle (the larger the cooler the higher the cooling capacity).

I do just recommend making sure you have the needed space available between the grille and AC condenser core for this to mount.

To install the cooler I recommend adding the Adapter Fitting # D13035 to simply the process and avoid having to cut or flare the lines.
