Does EverChill RV Refrigerator Draw Power from House Power Source If Trailer is Plugged into Outlet
Published 06/06/2019 >
Question:
When our travel trailer is at home, we plug it in to a 110 power source. This means that the refrigerator will continue to run because there is no on/off switch. Does the refrigerator use electricity as its power source in this situation, or battery?

Expert Reply:
That will depend on the wiring of your travel trailer but most likely the trailer is wired so that when you have it plugged into a power source like your house the appliances will draw power directly from it and then when not the battery would get used as a power source through an power converter.
