Does this lock system work on a ram 2500 mega cab with a backup camera tailgate latch?

I spoke with Pop & Lock and they said the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock part # PAL8340 will work with a factory backup camera in the tailgate handle. If you have a MegaCab and short bed then the above is the correct part for you but if you have the MegaCab and long bed then you will need to use part # PAL8340-PL9510 as it comes with an extension that you need.
