Question:
Can I run air conditioning with solar on my Rv? If so, how much solar do I need?

Expert Reply:
You can use a solar panel unit to help power your AC unit but since AC units pull so much power you would have to have a very large solar panel unit and clear skies to power it.
To properly provide power to your AC you would need an AC/Dc panel like part # PD4045KA, a battery bank (preferably deep cycle), a large solar panel kit like part # 34275012, and either access to shore power or using a set of generators like part # 333-0003-2-0007.
