Question:
I want to install the BX8869 bulb and socket kit on my 2005 Chevy Colorado. I will tow the vehicle behind my motorhome. Can you tell me will the kit work on my truck?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Blue Ox Bulb and Socket Tail Light Wiring Kit, # BX8869, is confirmed to fit in the taillight housing on your 2005 Chevrolet Colorado.
Along with the bulb and socket kit you will need an electrical cord and connectors to go from the towed vehicle to the motorhome. Blue Ox recommends the 4-Wire, Coiled Electrical Cord with 4-Way connectors, # BX8861 if your motorhome needs a 4-Way round connector, and the 6-Wire Coiled Electrical Cord with 6-Way round connectors, # BX8862 if your motorhome needs a 6-Way connector with the ability to power other accessories when towing.
