Can Crossbars be Added to 2016 GMC Denali With Raised Side Rails

Question:

I have a 2016 Acadia Denali that has side rails and cross bars but they are not adjustable and my cargo carrier doesn’t fit! Can I add additional cross bars to shorten the space
