Question:

I have a 2019 Ford F-150, 6.5 ft bed. I want to be able to remove a rack when not being used. Are there any heavy duty or extra heavy duty rack systems 800-1250 lbs that would fit this T-slot system? Thanks

I do have options for you but the tracks on the RetraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover part # RTT-80374 are simply just not strong enough to use a rack that has a 800 - 1,250 lb weight capacity. The most you will be able to carry using the tracks on the above is 300 lbs. For this, you will need to use the Yakima OutPost HD Mid-Height Truck Rack part # Y01152-5955.

If you don't already have the RetraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover then you can use the BAK Revolver X2 Hard Tonneau Cover part # BAK39327 instead as this would then allow you to use the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # TH43002XT-501 which has a 1,250 lb weight capacity. This option can still be removed while not in use although the above would be much easier to remove when finished using.
