Replacement Roof Vent for a 1993 Gulf Stream Conquest 102

Question:

are all rv vents the same depth?? I have a 1993 gulfstream conquest 102 limited edition, and I am trying to replace a vent over the over cab bed. There is currently a board over it, and no vent to go off of. The other vents are 14x14 openings on the inside of the trailer, inside edge to inside edge of what I think they are calling the garnish ring? It just looks like some of the depths may be different....I want a standard, screened, hand crank vent, with the trim, or garnish ring.

The roof vents installed in trailers are not all the same depth. However, the garnish ring which is included for you is trim to fit so it can accommodate trailers with varying roof thicknesses. The dimensions you have of 14" x 14" are standard so this is not really anything you need to worry about either. The actual cutout will be 14-1/4" x 14-1/4".

I recommend the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent part # V2092SP-28 which fits roofs from 1-7/8" to 3" thick and should be perfect for you. There are taller garnish rings available but these should not be needed. The Ventadome is made in the USA and has a one year warranty. In order to install this unit you will also want to use the LaSalle Bristol XTRM Universal Self-Leveling Sealant part # 34427034145-1.
