Does the CE Smith Keel Roller Assembly Part # CE32003G Have a Weight Capacity

Updated 05/13/2019 | Published 05/10/2019

Question:

Looking to raise bow enough to counter-level hull so water drains from self-bailing scuppers 5-7. As you can see in the photos I also have a 12inch mid-hull keel roller. This is a 76 AS, dry weight 1100lbs. Will this keel roller safely support the bow weight??

The CE Smith Keel Roller Assembly part # CE32003G like most of our roller assemblies do not have a listed weight capacity as this is just not something that the manufacturer tests for because there are just too many variables involved. That said, I don't think the bow of your 1,100 lb boat should be anywhere near the the breaking point of the roller assembly so you should be just fine using this in the fashion that you described.
