Kwikee 32 Series Steps Cycle In and Out with Door Closed

I have a kwikee steps 32 series that started cycling in and out when the door is closed. the motor override works fine.

The issue you described could be either a bad door switch or a bad control module assuming you have checked all of your connections. In order to determine which of the above is causing your problem you will want to unplug the 4-pin connector for the control module and apply 12 volt power to the red wire and then ground the brown wire. If the steps work as normal then you most likely have a bad door switch. However, if the steps do not work as normal then you most likely have a bad control module and it will need to be replaced with the Lippert Components Kwikee 9510 Control for IMGL/9510 Step Control part # LC379146.
