The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # CU64FR which is a fit for your 2015 Subaru Forester has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 lbs and a maximum tongue weight rating of 525 lbs. I confirmed this with Curt for you as well. Please note that if the towing/tongue weight capacity of your Forester is lower than that of the above then this is what you will need to abide by.
