My tech contact at Grand Design RV advised that the switches that control the lights on the awning and nose cap are located in varying places depending on the specific trailer floorplan but usually awning light controls will be placed near the entryway. If the unit has a hutch/cabinet the switches will usually be placed on the bottom of the cabinet.
Nose cap light controls could be located near the main control panel for power or on some models they could be inside the bulkhead storage cabinet at the front of the trailer. If you have access to the trailer VIN you can contact G-D and they can tell you the switch locations for your specific unit.
